tldr;

Some Notes on how to approach the practice in order to facilitate Unburdenings

Work with the body and note and express the parts that are coming from the body. The practice is very somatic.

Allow for the body to move and twist as it’s getting closer and closer to a part. Use the hands to support parts that feel weak or just need support.

The Self that connects with parts has no agency. If you notice yourself relating to a part with a form of agency, then that is not the Self and you should note it as another part. There is an element of transcendence in this.

Group Instructions

If we’re doing a deeper session, I should let people know that they shouldn’t worry about being self-conscious.

In a deeper session people should not try to relate or communicate to other people through their noting activity, unless it’s explicitly part of the container of the space.
